LYIT Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the LYIT website, operated by Open Road Ventures Pty Ltd, based in Queensland, Australia. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website and the LYIT system including the rental of hardware and access to software and related services. By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. General Website Use

All content on this website is the property of Open Road Ventures Pty Ltd unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose any material without prior written consent.

2. System Overview

LYIT (Last Yard Inventory Tracker) is a hardware and software system designed to track high-use maintenance parts in environments such as workshops, crib rooms, trailers, and remote laydowns. It operates offline and syncs once online, providing real-time visibility to avoid stockouts and improve operational flow.

3. Equipment Lease

Use of LYIT hardware is provided under a rental arrangement. Equipment remains the property of Open Road Ventures Pty Ltd and is leased for the duration of the agreed subscription. The equipment is supplied for use exclusively at the agreed site location and may not be relocated without approval.

4. Care of Equipment

Clients are responsible for maintaining the equipment in good condition. Any damage due to misuse, negligence, exposure to unsuitable environments, or unauthorised relocation will result in invoicing for replacement or repair costs.

5. Support & Setup

Standard onboarding and support are included as part of the subscription. Training materials and documentation are made available via our support hub. Ongoing technical assistance may be provided depending on your plan and support agreement.

6. Subscription & Payment Terms

LYIT operates on a 12-month subscription cycle. All subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in writing with a minimum of 60 days’ notice. Payment is made via invoice and due within the terms stated. Non-payment may result in suspension of system access and removal of hardware.

7. Termination & Return of equipment

Upon cancellation or non-renewal, all LYIT equipment must be returned in working order within 30 business days. If hardware is not returned or is returned damaged, the client will be invoiced for its full replacement cost.

8. Data use & Privacy

LYIT collects non-personal inventory and usage data for performance analysis and may use anonymised data for marketing and product development purposes. No personally identifiable data will be shared without consent.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance. The LYIT platform is hosted in secure, enterprise-grade data centers located in Australia and Singapore, certified against internationally recognized standards including SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO/IEC 27017 (Cloud Security), and ISO/IEC 27018 (Cloud Privacy). 9. Access & Downtime

While LYIT continues tracking offline, certain features require internet connectivity. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for third-party network outages or data loss caused by external factors.

10. Limitation of Liability

LYIT is a tool designed to support inventory management. Open Road Ventures Pty Ltd is not liable for business loss, equipment failure due to unrelated issues, or damages resulting from reliance on system notifications alone. Clients remain responsible for operational oversight.
